Designed for the humidity of tropical and coastal climates, unfriendly conditions for wood cabinets, NEFF chooses its materials for their durability and resistance to humidity, then constructs them for stability. Features include exterior grade woods, extra hinges, galvanized steel drawer linings, finished tops on all cabinets, “skin and skeleton” construction, and finishes commonly used in the automotive and aircraft industries.
Healthy Environments
NEFF ensures the health of the external environment by using only suppliers who follow sustainable forestry practices. NEFF then looks after your health indoors, by choosing materials that prevent the emission of formaldehyde and VOC’s (Volatile Organic Compounds such as the solvents found in more commonly-used Lacquer). NEFF finishes and seals all of its cabinetry at the factory with Urea Formaldehyde-Free acrylic polyurethane and will NEVER paint a cabinet in your home.
