The Kitchen is the heart of the home – not just the central gathering place for family, but a key part of a welcoming, entertaining space for friends. The goal of the kitchen was to create a warm, inviting space for elegant gourmet cooking, very comfortable dining and enviable entertaining. To create warmth, we cut down on straight angles, designing sensuous, flowing curves into the cabinetry and accenting the doors with exotic woods – Dark Olive, English Sycamore and ebony-stained Rift-cut Oak. Soft silk and brushed suede walls invite you in and embrace you. Toned lighting gives you lots of light to work and adds to the warm atmosphere. To create elegance, we added sculpted wood panels in a champagne crystal metallic finish, a backsplash in eye-catching, glass mosaic and a French Limestone floor that sets a soft and graceful stage for the richly detailed cabinetry. Intricately detailed hardware provides an elegant finishing touch. The appliances are durable, but beautiful and Eco-friendly countertops and a brushed nickel sink create a functional workspace. The integrated gathering space is a mix of a built-in banquet with a stunning glass table – rich fabrics with glamorous glass, Lucite and nickel whisper warm sophistication.
