You’ve just come back from seeing Aunt Judy’s remodeled kitchen. You’re thinking that next year may be the year for that new luxury kitchen or bath you’ve been promising yourself. If you’re like most of us, you would probably like to have the project completed by a particular holiday. Neff of Chicago’s rule of thumb is 23 weeks for a typical remodel or about 14 weeks for a rush, so start planning now.
This Quick Reference shows the latest date you should meet with Neff for the first time to ensure the project is completed by the holiday of your choice. (Refer to the Are We There Yet? blog for details on the remodeling process.)
