The rule of thumb that Neff of Chicago follows for a typical remodel is 23 weeks from first design visit to completed installation. The designer says that's because many customers require more time in the design and approval phases of the process. 

How long does it actually take to transform the current space into a dream kitchen or bathroom? 

Neff of Chicago can design, produce, deliver and install a new luxury kitchen or bath in 17 weeks, or even as few as 12 weeks with a rush option.  Production and delivery period is up to half the time required for products manufactured overseas because Neff of Chicago cabinetry is crafted in North America, eight hours away from Chicago. 

Customers can also shorten the remodel timeline by providing quick approvals after each phase is completed. This is especially true in the early stages. When a client has a clear vision of what the finished kitchen will look like and exactly how they plan to use the new room, the process can proceed more quickly from design to production.  

Here is how a remodel timeline lays out.

Phase 1   Preliminary Design Quotation – 2 weeks. 

Neff of Chicago 1 week.  Client approval 1 week.

Phase 2   Design Approval and Order – 6 weeks. 

Neff of Chicago 4 weeks. Client approval and go ahead 2 weeks.

Phase 3   Production – 12 weeks. 

Neff of Chicago.

Phase 4   Installation – 3 weeks. 

Cabinet and countertop installation. (Typically two weeks should be allowed to complete and install countertops).

Phase 5   Post-Installation follow-up – 1 week.
