Neff Styles Open the Door to Creativity

What you see is what you get, but what you want can be fine tuned to reflect your personal design style. That is a basic premise behind the Neff of Chicago design process.

When it comes to luxury kitchen preference, most people will lean toward one of three main styles: classic traditional, contemporary avant-garde, or transitional, which is somewhere in between.

Let’s take a look at how your style can be defined and refined, using two new Neff door styles. On the left is a beveled shaker style door and drawer, and on the right is a less intricate “hybrid” created with the shaker door and slab drawer front with 1cm beaded edge.

Below on the left is the new slab door and drawer, shown as it would look with countertop and handles in place. On the right is the finished mix/match version – slab drawer and shaker door.  Both these styles would be considered transitional, as they are less ornate than more classic door styles. They work well for people who don’t want a plain slab door, or a country kitchen look.

Other possibilities for a mix and match design include such pairings as a stainless drawer with veneer door, or a flat slab drawer partnered with a sculpted wood door.

If you are a slab door lover, chances are your personal style is contemporary or Art Déco. Choosing a simpler slab style door and drawer means you can create a truly unique look that is miles from plain, by applying exotic finishes such as a Neff Euro-Laminate like horizontal Ebony Macassar or raked Brown Rift Oak.

There is also good news for fans of more traditional 5-piece doors. (Those are the ones with side frames, called stiles, top and bottom frames, called rails, and a center panel.)
