An Investment That Can’t Miss

12.07.2010

The one thing that’s certain these days is there are very few “sure things.” The quest for quality, value or a sound investment too often ends in disappointment.

When it comes to big decisions like selecting the perfect cabinetry for your kitchen, you don’t want to be disappointed. This is a decision you’ll probably make only once or twice in a lifetime. The goal is to create an extraordinary space that enchants family and friends, maintains its beauty over years of constant use, and adds value to your home.

As with other investment decisions, it makes sense to turn to an expert with a track record of excellence, a company or organization that has a vested interest in ensuring your satisfaction. In the cabinetry arena, Neff of Chicago fits the description

Investments in people, technique and technology pay off for the customer.

Over the years, Neff has invested in talented designers, artisans and engineers who share the simple, mutual goal of making the best and most beautiful cabinetry in the world.

Since 1966, Neff has consistently looked for ways to integrate the skills of its artisans with the best technology in order to provide the gold standard in quality design and construction – in the most efficient way possible.

Solid partnerships with key suppliers is another important part of the equation. Neff works closely with key vendors to develop innovations in finishes and materials that are unique, ecologically friendly and durable, in even the most challenging environments.

Striking the right balance of global and local means value you can count on.

Neff is a global brand with showrooms around the world. A larger customer base enhances the ability to invest in the business and build stronger relationships with suppliers.

Neff is a “local” manufacturer with a Canadian production facility. That has meant a favorable exchange rate vs. the U.S. dollar. Other premium cabinetry brands are manufactured in Europe, where transportation costs and European currencies are higher.

, I'd do those lovely llitte built ins in the dining room complete with leaded glass. I'd stone treatment the fireplace (matching all the beautiful stone on the home facade) instead of the dental-traditional modling that is there now (nice, but not my thing). I'd stretch the beautiful bamboo stranded walnut flooring throughout the first floor and not just in the greatroom. And finally, and probably my favorite idea, is to take beautiful old reclaimed barnwood and build it in as an entire wall unit entertainment center/bookcase unit. Finished in an antique grey with the brown cracking through. Glass doors on the front. Chunky, not too many embellishments. Now all I need is another 50K to get it done.
