The 2010 DreamHome event at Chicago’s Merchandise Mart Design Center has been a great success during these first two weeks, drawing large crowds of luxury shoppers curious about the “Cool Elegance” themed custom kitchen built by Neff of Chicago.

As you walk into the display area, your senses align with the color, clean lines and beauty of this contemporary-styled kitchen. One of the focal points first to be noticed is the gorgeous round marble table in the corner of the room. It draws the eye and leads the view to the hidden refrigerator, encased in a beautiful wood-grain laminate that hides delicately within the cabinets. To the right of the refrigerator and beyond the expansive gleaming white countertop hangs a flat-screen television, offering entertainment for the breakfasting family imagined to live in this space.

Turning to the left of the wood-grained refrigerator is the sink area, highlighted by a beautiful gold hanging light and surrounded by the luxury kitchen cabinetry that gives Neff of Chicago their supreme reputation in the industry. In contrast to the straight lines of the counter near the refrigerator, the countertop in the sink area is lightly curved, softening the décor into a comforting setting for entertaining.

Turning away from the stunning cabinets and countertops, the viewer is faced with a stunningly beautiful seating area complete with a designer sofa, decorative wall mirror and an incredible hanging chandelier. The room is rounded out with a lovely accent lights and a full-sized wine chiller, further enhancing this custom kitchen’s purpose as the center for all entertaining in the home.
